Prices & Booking

How much does driveway cleaning cost in Derby?

Every job is quoted individually, because no two driveways are identical. The price depends on size, surface type, condition and access, and you always receive a fixed price in writing before any work begins: the price we quote is the price you pay. Our pricing page explains how quotes work, and our cost guide blog post covers what drives prices locally.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No, never. We do not take deposits or any upfront payments. You inspect the finished work first and pay only when you are completely satisfied with the results.

How do I get a quote?

Three easy ways: fill in the form on any page, WhatsApp us photos, or give our team a call. Photos usually mean we can provide a fixed price without an initial site visit. Larger commercial or complex jobs can be surveyed in person free of charge.

How quickly can you fit us in?

Usually within a week, often sooner. Spring and early summer book up fastest, so if you want work completed for a specific date (such as a family event or house sale), please give our team as much notice as possible.

On the Day

Do you need access to water or electricity?

Just an outside tap for water supply. Our pressure washing equipment is commercial petrol-powered machinery, so we don't require access to your electricity. No outside tap? Mention it when you enquire and we'll work out a practical solution.

How long does a driveway or patio take?

A typical single driveway takes two to four hours including surface treatment and tidy-up. Patios are similar. Large multi-car driveways or heavy black spot removal can take most of a day; our team will advise you honestly when quoting.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily. As long as our team has clear access to the work area and an outside tap, you can be at work and we will send before-and-after photos once the job is finished. Many of our regular clients choose this option.

What happens to the waste and mess?

Surrounding areas are thoroughly rinsed down: windows, walls, doors, and plants. All green waste, weeds, clippings and debris are bagged and removed by our team. Your entire property is left spotless.

The Work Itself

Will pressure washing damage my driveway or patio?

Not with the correct equipment and pressure settings. We use commercial rotary surface cleaners that distribute pressure evenly, calibrated specifically for each surface type. Block paving, tarmac, sandstone and resin all receive tailored treatment. Damage only happens when inexperienced operators use high-pressure pinpoint lances incorrectly.

Do you re-sand block paving afterwards?

Yes, as standard with every block paving clean, never as an optional extra. Once the paving is completely dry, specialist kiln-dried sand is brushed into every joint. This locks the blocks firmly in place and dramatically inhibits weed return.

Can you remove black spots and oil stains?

Black spots (lichen), yes—using professional biocide treatments that kill the spore at the root before rotary cleaning. Oil stains: fresh spills lift remarkably well with our industrial degreasers; old, baked-in stains fade significantly. We will always give you an honest expectation before you book.

Are your treatments safe for pets, children and plants?

We use professional-grade, biodegradable treatments, rinse all surrounding areas thoroughly, and take great care around flowerbeds, lawns and ponds. We advise keeping pets and children off treated areas until dry, standard best practice for any outdoor cleaning product.

Do you clean roofs?

No. Roof work requires specialist access scaffolding and rigging—it is a different trade entirely. We focus strictly on what we specialize in: ground-level surface restoration and garden maintenance.
